South Kesteven District Council

Introduction

The Deepings are in the South Kesteven district of Lincolnshire. Our District Council meets at Grantham and has offices located in the other towns of the district. The District Council is responsible for housing, playing fields, refuse collection and recycling, local democracy and Council Tax collection, local planning and planning control and enforcement.

Members

Deeping St James has three councillors on the Distict Council: Ray Auger (Lib Dem), who is a cabinet member; Ken Joynson (Lib Dem);and Bryan Helyar (Con). Their email addresses can be found on the SKDC website. These three are our own councillors: Market Deeping has separate representation. Cllrs Auger and Helyar also serve on the Parish Council.
